Kitchen Renovation
Project Cadillac was a heart warming project for our team to complete for the best clients. Together we curated a unique space that was design forward, fresh and included a stunning island collaboration with the client’s daughter’s company with her husband. As a family-focused company, we are always thrilled to get to work with families and create a space that brings joy, peace and tranquility. And talk about natural light – the real hero of this beautiful kitchen.
Design Concept
The “before” of this space included a large wall down the centre of the home, creating a divide and the inability to host gatherings with family and friends. By installing a recessed beam and ensuring the space was structurally sound, we were able to open up this home and create a home that encourages being together and creating memories. Working closely with this family, our in-house designer created 3D renderings that allowed the clients to really visualize the space before we even began demo.
Finishing Touch
This kitchen includes modern elements of slim profile shaker doors, warm white cabinetry paired with classic black decorative touches. All cabinetry is custom built in-house by our expert cabinet makers. A truly customized experience. A stunning quartz waterfall countertop on the island with the same quartz on the perimeter and backsplash to the ceiling elevated this design concept and we also included a quartz strip in the window sill as an added beautiful, yet functional touch.
Hidden Features
We love to really utilize each and every nook and cranny of your space to create not only stunning spaces and cabinetry, but to also create functional designs that just make sense. In this kitchen, we made the most of the space and included a large appliance garage with a top pocket door that disappears when open. Lots of drawer storage is always a must and really makes the most of the usable interior cabinet space. A pull-out utensil and cooking oil cabinet was installed right next to the stove for ultimate convenience.
The sink and all of the necessary items for everyday living is where we got really creative! We made the most out of the cabinet that holds the undermount sink and instead of just adding a front panel, we turned the panel into a usable tip-out stainless steel tray to house dish cleaning sponges. But that’s not all – we turned a cabinet filler right next to the sink in to a pull-out towel holder. Nothing gets us more excited than finding genius ways to hide those everyday items but still have them within arms reach!
